1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by TheVINLawyer ("we," "us," or "our"), including but not limited to our vehicle identification number (VIN) verification reports for cars, motorcycles, boats, and other vehicles, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

TheVINLawyer provides vehicle history reports based on VINs submitted by users. These reports compile data from various public and private sources, including government databases, insurance records, and marine registries. Our services are offered in multiple packages (e.g., Silver, Gold, Platinum for cars and bikes; Standard for boats), each with varying levels of detail as outlined on our website.

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information but do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of the data, as it depends on third-party sources beyond our control.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Payment Terms

Payment for our services is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and Apple Pay. All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without prior notice. Discounts for multiple reports (15% off for 3+ reports) apply automatically at checkout unless otherwise specified.

All transactions are final unless a refund is explicitly granted under Section 5.

5. Refund Policy

We offer refunds only in the following cases:

  • A technical error prevents delivery of your report.
  • The report is demonstrably incomplete or inaccurate due to an error on our part (e.g., system failure, not third-party data inaccuracies).

Refunds are not available if you are dissatisfied with the vehicle history revealed in the report or if the report meets our standard delivery criteria. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase via email to support@thevinlawyer.com with detailed evidence of the issue.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate VINs and payment information.

TheVINLawyer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to losses from purchasing a vehicle based on our reports. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific report in question.

We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from third-party inaccuracies.
